Marshmallow was bought from a commercial piggery as a piglet. She was to be fattened up by her new owner and then slaughtered and put in the freezer.
All was going to plan and Marshmallow as getting nice and fat. But when her owner was diag- nosed with cancer and was not given long to live, she had a change of heart.
She phoned HUHA in tears one day saying that she needed to find somewhere safe for Marsh- mallow, somewhere where she would never be in threat of being eaten.
Not long after marshmallows arrival we received word of her owners passing. Marshmallow is safe and happy at the sanctuary, she loves people and she loves food, but most of all she loves life!!
